Welcome to 3004 Main Street
Designed as an urban retreat from the ceaseless activity of city life using contemporary materials like concrete, steel, copper, translucent materials and glass, the house conjures up a different notion of modern life, comfortably allowing for both public and private living spaces.
The contemporary, modern aesthetic conforms to a modern lifestyle, simultaneously accommodating work, privacy, solitude, interaction and relaxation. The 8,800 square foot house includes 3,000 s.f. of office gallery space, a private 1,000 s.f. guesthouse, and an extensive outdoor Japanese zen style garden.
Ideal for anyone seeking a high-end, versatile property on a coveted Main Street location centered in the heart of Deep Ellum.
A north entrance leads visitors into a private courtyard revealing the house’s character as a hidden oasis in the city. The house and garden share the same sophisticated, minimal, simplicity, featuring a Japanese zen garden with an extensive 30 ft. long water fountain, with textures of green upon green enlivened by a life size chrome sculpture. Although private and enclosed, the courtyard is both a formal garden and exterior living room.

Design
The house was designed as a gallery with a minimal, sculptural style, using glass, steel, copper, and concrete, to create a space with ample light and a flowing aesthetic. The public spaces, which comprise the living room atrium, dining, kitchen and lounge areas are located on the first floor along with the master bedroom in a play of single and double height volumes. On the second floor, a media room, study and library all maintain an uninterrupted view of the exterior garden. Both the first and second floor offer expansive views of the surrounding landscape.
